Common questions
- How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Los Angeles?
- A cosmetic refresh generally starts around $45,000. A full gut with new cabinetry, appliances, and electrical typically runs $85,000-$180,000, and moving walls or plumbing pushes it higher.
- How long will my kitchen be out of service?
- Most full kitchen remodels take 8-14 weeks on site once materials are ordered and permits are issued. We set up a temporary kitchen area so you can stay in the house.
- Do I need a permit to remodel a kitchen?
- Cabinet and counter replacement usually does not, but moving plumbing, gas, or electrical circuits, or removing a wall, does. We pull and manage the permits when they are required.
- Can you remove a wall to open up the kitchen?
- Yes. If the wall is load bearing we bring in a structural engineer and install a properly sized beam with permitted framing and inspections.
